This legal document is an agreement between you, and TheJobMagnet Interactive, Inc. (TJM). BY USING THIS SITE AND ITS SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND ARE AGREEING TO BECOME BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

- TJM services and Content
- TJM provides potential employers ("Employers") and candidates for jobs offered by such potential Employers ("Candidates") with a job-matching service ("Service"). This Service is provided for free to Employers and Candidates (collectively, the "Users"). The terms under which you, the User, are provided with these Service and the terms under which you use this Website is set out in this agreement.
All the content placed on this Website is either owned by us or licensed by us from a third party ("Content"). You do not need to register with TJM or create an account with us in order to read or access our the Content.
In the course of obtaining the Service from us you must provide TJM with some personal information and data to allow us to provide the Services ("User Content"). This User Content you provide to us is treated as private in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We link to web sites of third parties ("Third Party Sites") solely for your conveniance. We are not responsible for the content of such Third Party Sites. We do not necessarily endorse the products of services offered at those sites.
- Ownership and Use of TJM Content and User Content
- The logos and brands posted on the website are deemed to be owned either by by TJM or its licensees. Do not use this Content in any way without TJM's prior written permission.
For example, you are expressly prohibited from modifying, copying or altering our logos or any information about job postings provided by Employers.
You are provided with a user identification number ("User ID") and a password. It is your obligation and your responsibility to safeguard the confidentiality and monitor any usage of the Service in association with your UserID. It is Your own responsibility to safeguard your User ID, password or follow any routine security safeguards.
Once submitted to TJM, User Content is owned by TJM. Any User wishing to terminate and close their TJM account should notify TJM. Subject to applicable laws and regulation which may require TJM to retain User Content for a specific time period, TJM will then delete such User Content from its records.
- No Payment
- There is no charge for the TJM Services. We reserve the right to alter these terms of services or access to the TJM Website at any time upon 30 days prior notice to any User. If changes to our terms of services are required by applicable law or regulation, then these terms of services may be amended with immediate effect. We shall provide notice of such changes either by email or by the login screen for the Website. You agree that Your use of the Website after notification of any changes is notice to TJM that You have agreed to the terms of the changed terms of services.
- Limitation of Liability
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR LOSS OF PROFITS RESULTING FROM THIS AGREEMENT. OUR LIABILITY WILL BE FOR DIRECT DAMAGES ONLY
RESULTING FROM EITHER GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR A MATERIAL BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT, TO THE LIMIT OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
THE WEBSITE, AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, CONDITIONS, OR GUARANTEES OR ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES. TJM does not and cannot warrant that a Candidate will be fit for a job position described by an Employer and does not and can not warrant that Employers will find suitable Candidates for jobs.
You shall defend or settle any claim made or any suit or proceeding brought against TJM insofar as such claim, suit or proceeding directly or indirectly arises out of violation of the terms of this Agreement.
- General
- Parental Permission - For all Users under the age of 18, consent from a parent or guardian is required. If you are under the age of 18, you agree to obtain parental permission prior to accessing the site. If you do not have permission, please do not use this site.
Cancelling your account - If you have an account with us, you can cancel it at any time by contacting us in any other manner, including by text, email or phone. We can cancel or suspend your account for any reason at any time in our sole discretion.
Governing law - This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration or mediation under the rules of the British Columbia International Arbitration Centre. The place of arbitration of mediation shall be Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Entire Agreement - This Agreement sets out the entire agreement between TJM and you relating to this website.
Complete Agreement - This Agreement includes the TJM Privacy Policy and is the complete and exclusive statement of the Agreement between TJM and Users. TJM IS NOT BOUND BY ANY PROVISION OF ANY PURCHASE ORDER, CORRESPONDENCE, OR OTHERWISE UNLESS SPECIFICALLY AGREED TO IN WRITING.
Assignment - We may assign this Agreement in connection with a merger, amalgamation or corporate re-organization, or in connection with the sale of all or substantially all our assets.
